I currently serve as editor in chief for The Maine Campus, a semiweekly newspaper in Orono, Maine. You can download PDFs here.

I started my newspaper career as a high school student at the North Carolina School of the Arts, where I helped start The Kudzu Gazette, a newspaper representing the students of the school. I worked on The Gazette all through high school, starting as layout manager and ending as editor in chief. I now attend college at the University of Maine, where I began work for the student independent paper as Web editor, where I focused on the expansion of multimedia. Immediately following my hiring I redesigned the Web site, and then transferred the site onto WordPress from College Publisher.

I hope to become an international correspondent for a large newspaper, reporting primarily from underprivileged, and therefore underreported, areas.
